Your deepest pain is pointing you toward your purpose

You’ve got a big, meaningful dream.

So let’s start today by asking yourself a power question:

What do you perceive is most missing in your life?

Take a moment to feel your way to the answer — not what you think it should be, but what your body quietly knows.

This weekend, we had a powerful, magical retreat with The nest in Colorado — and one theme kept showing up again and again:

Playing small and not using our voice.

So many n’betweeners — powerful, creative, heart-led people — hold themselves back.

They second-guess their voice.

They minimize their brilliance so others feel comfortable.

They wait for permission to be who they already are.

Not because they lack potential — but because belonging has always felt conditional.

And yet, the very things we hide — our complexity, our depth, our n’between-ness — are what the world most needs.

That’s the paradox of being an n’betweener:

The thing that made you feel different is the key to your purpose in life.

The voids in our lives — the places where we’ve felt unseen, unheard, or unsupported — are not just empty spaces. They are seeds.

They guide us toward something bigger than ourselves.

When you connect to your deepest pain, you uncover your real WHY.

Your Why is the deeper reason behind what you do and who you are.

It’s what turns the emptiness into extraordinary purpose.

Understanding your Why fills those voids in meaningful ways.

It gives clarity when you’re unsure, fuels resilience when things get tough, and inspires others to join you in your mission.

When I was growing up in Denmark, I was bullied for being sensitive — and often seen as “exotic,” never fully belonging among the tall, white, blonde kids around me.

That pain — that void — became my compass.

Today, I’m building the n’betweener® community: a global home for those who live at the intersections of many worlds and identities — the overlooked, the outliers, the bridge-builders.

Everything I’ve built with n’betweeners came from that absence.

What once made me feel powerless has become my sense of purpose.

Thank you for being part of this creation.

As we move through the end of 2025, remember:

The void becomes the vision.

Let’s stop waiting for permission, embrace what feels missing, and create what’s needed — together.

XO,

Nora
